Dinner at Rinjin Shokudo 隣人食堂 · 7:31 PM

The meals here (Japanese / Taiwanese) are nice, albeit price slightly higher. We like fish set meal the best.

Dinner at Restaurant MSL · 6:34 PM

Pretty good Chinese meals with reasonable prices. Food are generally tasty. My mother in law loves the crab with glass noodles (RM 112 for 700g).

Supper at Christine's Bakery, Pavilion Bukit Jalil · 8:52 PM

Chocolate Ganache Tart is quite compact, and the pastry feels like cookies. Taste wise is pretty good, but it is pretty hard to dismantle. The truffle Cream Cheese bagel is pretty big and soft, with good amount of truffle cream cheese with nice aroma. I do wish the bagel is served warm. Matcha Expresso is nice.

Lunch at Koffie Craft - Dutch Restaurant & Café · 12:21 PM

The Opera Koffie have a thick cinnamon taste, but the ice cream just melted away too fast. Egg Hollandaise Duck: the taste of the sauce is quite strong, and the smoked duck breast is salty, and both strong taste seems too overwhelming. Baby Apricot: the apricot taste is too sourish, the rest is pretty average. Given the reviews and price point, I do have slightly higher expectations. At least the service is good.

Hike at Taman Rimba Bukit Kerinchi · 1:44 PM

Bukit Gasing and Taman Rimba Kerinchi is basically the same forest, where prior one is in Petaling Jaya and later one in Kuala Lumpur. Sadly the car park is closed on public holiday, so we have to park by the roadside. The first thing we noticed are the mosquitos, instantly got bitten once we get down from the car. The forest feels like a community forest, albeit is pretty large area. Do use a map App with the trails, as there are many trails. It does have huge bridge at the entrance. Within the forest there is a suspension bridge, a broken down tower and a really tiny waterfall. There is a viewpoint near an Indian temple, with a pretty nice view of KL. You could spend from 1h up to 4h to explore the trails here, but there are quite a lot of aggressive mosquitos.

Dinner at Khan’s Indian Cuisine · 7:04 PM

The place is quite big, and quite a full house. The food did take quite a while to be served, so maybe that explains the full house 😁 The Masala tea is quite strong in Masala flavour. It was a shock at first sip, but I slowly grow to love it. Although the Lamb Sukkah Varuval is label as spicy with 2 chillies symbol, it not really not that spicy. Chunky meat, nice taste, not hard and good value for money. Vegetable Kofta Curry: the potato ball is much spicy, but the gravy are not. Taste wise is pretty good. Methi Chicken Masala comes with good amount of meat as well, and my wife loves the gravy. The plain Naan is pretty good, just nice thickness and some crunchiness. Tandoori Roti is okay. Laccha Paratha layering is pretty nice, I like it. I can understand the high ratings Khan’s is getting: good food and value.

Dessert at Sunbather Coffee · 8:34 PM

I believe this place specialises in desserts, though they served main meals for lunch. Since we are pretty full, so we opt for just one dessert: Tiramisu. The coco powder on top is quite strong, not too sweet and the texture is just nice. I think it is a pretty good Tiramisu.

Pretty good dessert with okay snacks.

Teatime at Artelier Coffee, Pavilion Bukit Jalil · 5:54 PM

This place is quite hidden in a certain corner, so fairly impossible to bump into by chance. Environment is nice, service is good, coffee is okay.

Tea at Hazukido @ Pavilion Bukit Jalil · 6:32 PM

Good croissant. My sister says it is made with high quality ingredients (given the price).
