The best place to have coffee in Chiang Mai: good taste, good price and beautiful place (not too fancy, just nice). Right at the center of old city, few steps away from Wat Phra Singh.
Pretty good roast chicken. Crispy skin and flavourful. To make good roast chicken you need the correct size, should be too big or too small. Papaya salad is nice too. Simple, delicious and affordable.
An interesting MARS themed cafe, and it is indeed quite unique and beautiful. The dirty latte is nice too, together with the thick chocolate flavor brownie.
Extensive menu, more expensive, nice environment plus a koi pond with some giant koi. The food looks very enticing, but taste wise is between average or slightly above average. So just enjoy the vibe and chill.
This road side stall is super popular, have to take a number and wait for our turn (about 20 minutes). It is fried noodles with seafood/pork and vegetables, which is pretty delicious. I am not sure if it is worth the long wait time though.
Chiang Mai night market are usually quite long and super crowded, so it could be quiet tiring. Do visit if you fancy street food or shopping. At the western end is a beautiful golden temple which still open at night.
A place for slightly fancy specialty coffee, with a nice ambience for photography. Tried the honeycomb orange coffee, not bad. Also pickup the cheapest snack. Good quality and fancy with more premium prices. Worth a visit.
A big market located within the Chinatown of Chiang Mai. We came here to buy snacks (nuts, dry fruit, pork skin, sweets, etc) as souvenirs before we flew back.
A decent and convenient coffee place. Most people just chill outside people watching, next to it is shop selling furniture, bag and hat made of cane. Many people took photo here.
