Breakfast at MTR · 9:07 AM

This place served some of the best dosa/tosai I have ever tasted, albeit more expensive than usual. Onion Rava Dosa (RM 15) is crispy and tasty, with great chutney. Rava Idly (RM 11.50) is pretty thick and nice too, served with the same Chutney. Filter Coffee (RM 7.50) is pretty interesting as well.

Visit at Little India Brickfields · 10:06 AM

It is a colourful street filled with Indian deco and shops. The best way to enjoy it is probably to sit down and enjoy some Indian breakfast or snacks.

Tea at Sri Paandi Restaurant · 10:07 AM

The ambience here for morning breakfast is just perfect: open air dining on sidewalk, shades provided by nearby tall buildings, and the bustling atmosphere of an Indian breakfast place. Besides dosa, they do serve all kind on snacks, and the tea is pretty good.

Visit at Sree Veera Hanuman Temple · 11:30 AM

A very beautiful Indian Temple for Hanuman - God of Wisdom, Strength, Courage, Devotion and Self-discipline. The temples are full of beautiful carvings and statue of Hanuman for various places.

Visit at Sri Kandaswamy Temple · 11:35 AM

A Sri Lankan Tamil temple, everyone is welcome to enter (remove your shoes, dress appropriately). Inside is pretty spacious with plenty of columns, where the statues of deity are covered (you should not photograph the deities). Everyone just sit down to wait for prayer time, then they will play the music instruments, rang the bell and the priest well guide the prayers to all the deities. Everyone is welcomed to join this prayer.

Visit at Catholic Church of The Holy Rosary · 12:35 PM

Build in 1903, this Church is open to visitors. Simple and beautiful.

Dessert at Ah Keong's ABC & Ice Cendol Stall · 1:23 PM

Definitely stop by for a Cendol dessert when nearby, it is simple and nice. There is a Fried Kway Teow stall next door, or fried banana fritters nearby.

Snack at Brickfields Pisang Goreng | Fried Banana Stall 炸香蕉 · 1:30 PM

Pretty good fried banana fritters and friend nian gao. The batter is nice, kinda special.

Lunch at Peter's Pork Noodle · 1:34 PM

Located with Moneys Corner Food Court, Peter's Pork Noodle seems to be the most popular. Sadly the soup is pretty salty today, taste like an average bowl of pork noodle.

Hiking at Taman Tugu · 2:13 PM

A nice hiking trail in the middle of the city. The is a short NCP trail, can be completed in 20 minutes. There is a much longer CP which takes 2 hours, but with many shortcuts to shorten the trail. Plenty of swings along the trails. There is a bamboo trail, an abandoned house and a few metal gazebos. Saw many squirrels, some birds and monitor lizards along the way.

Stay at citizenM Kuala Lumpur Bukit Bintang hotel · 5:44 PM

A modern and clean hotel. The common area are huge and well decorated, plenty of sofas to chill or work desk to get some work done. The room is small but sufficient, with modern control using iPad to control lightings, blinds and tv. Sufficiently comfortable. Great location, next to Jalan Alor, but still quiet.

Dinner at 8Haus · 7:44 PM

This is a pork place, specializing in Pork Roulade. The highlight would be All-Time Curry Ramen (RM 22.80) with tasty broth mixed with pork lard and minced meat, good enough noodles and half a piece of Pork Roulade. I believe the broth actually enhances the Pork Roulade, which by itself is already pretty good. The Nasi Lemak Pork Roulade (RM 30.30) is a letdown because the anchovies and peanuts are too dry, and the sambal is average, and luckily the flavourful fluffy rice kind of saves it. The full Pork Roulade is probably too big (half is enough), and the mixture with Nasi Lemak kind of makes it too dry. Fried Mochi (RM 7.20) is nice, filled with richness of mashed sweet potato and crispy skin. I wish there is more Mochi. Bali Paradise (RM 9.80) is blended barley with ice shake and lemon. It is very rich in barley and fresh lime.
